In 2023, we're pleased to welcome Sandy Clark and Kirsten Gray to the Trinity College Board.

Sandy Clark AO

Sandy Clark has served as Chairman of Australian Grape and Wine Inc, the Winemakers' Federation of Australia, the William Buckland Foundation, Brown Brothers Holdings, Mitchelton Wines, the Arts Centre Melbourne Foundation, the Aviva Australia Insurance Group, the Brotherhood of St Laurence, and the Melbourne Grammar School Council: as Deputy Chairman of the Myer Family Company Ltd, Eastern Energy Ltd, and the Legal Practice Board of Victoria, and as a Director of ANZ Bank Wealth Companies, Oasis Funds Management Ltd, and One Path Custodians Pty Ltd, Select Harvests Ltd, Stonier Wines, and as a Trustee of the Victorian Arts Centre Trust.

Sandy is Chair of the Trinity Finance and Audit Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Shepparton Art Museum Foundation and a Director of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.

Sandy was a resident of Trinity College from 1963 to 1965. Two of his children, Jessica and Tom, also went to Trinity.

Kirsten Gray

Kirsten was appointed as Chief Sustainability and External Affairs Officer at Treasury Wine Estates in March 2020. Prior to joining TWE, she was Chief Corporate Services Officer and Company Secretary at Orica Ltd and, before that, Vice-President Legal with BHP Ltd. Kirsten is a member of the executive leadership team at TWE and has responsibility for the sustainability, corporate affairs, legal, governance and insurance teams.

Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Melbourne. She is a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and member of the Trinity College Finance and Audit Committee. Kirsten is a Director of the Friday Night School Ltd, a tutoring service for children of non-English speaking backgrounds, and was a member of Council of Lauriston Girls' School from 2016 to 2022.

Kirsten was a resident at Trinity College from 1984 to 1986 and describes the time as 'foundational'. She says taking up a position on the Trinity College Board is a way of continuing her connection with something that was such an important part of her life, and she hopes to offer helpful business and governance perspectives.

When asked about her fondest memory from her time at Trinity, Kirsten says: 'Winning the girls rowing. We girls had to be taught to row from scratch because girls schools were only just starting rowing programs WAY BACK then.'
