Eulogies and homilies: Frank Henagan

On Monday 13 January the funeral service was held for Frank Patrick Henagan at Trinity College Chapel.

Over 500 people gathered for the service. With limited seating in the Chapel, overflow seating with a live video stream was available to accommodate all attendees.

It was heartening to see so many people – with some travelling long distances – come to pay their respects.

After the service, refreshments were enjoyed by attendees, giving people a chance to reflect further on the legacy of Frank’s life.

At the service two eulogies and a homily were given, and we welcome you to read them here:

We also received many heartfelt tributes to Frank from the wider Trinity community. Thank you to all those who contributed to sharing stories and reflections on Frank's life.

This Scholarship is awarded to an all-round student who has contributed significantly to the College; who best reflects Frank's values of honesty, integrity, hard work and concern for others and who otherwise would have difficulty returning to the College due to financial hardship.
