Scott Charles appointed next deputy warden

By Emily McAuliffe

Trinity College's advancement director, Scott Charles, will be taking on the role of deputy warden next year upon the retirement of current deputy warden, Campbell Bairstow. Scott has played an important leadership role at the college in the advancement space for the past five years, and will now add the deputy role to his portfolio.

Scott is a Trinity alumnus and former Senior Student, so is well-versed in all things Trinity and has an in-depth understanding of our positive culture and traditions. He is also a passionate advocate for the college vision and is playing a key role in implementing our strategic objectives. Furthermore, he has strong relationships with our staff and students across the three college divisions – all qualities that make him well placed to take on this position.

Scott also has a breadth of experience beyond Trinity, including a 13-year career with Mars Confectionary, where his roles included national business manager of customer marketing, and as managing director of his own consulting companies Winning Feeling and Health Enterprises.

We look forward to welcoming Scott to the role in January 2019.
