Student profile: Laura Cerbus
For Laura Cerbus, there’s something magnetic about ‘Trinity’. She attended Trinity Secondary School, then Trinity School for Ministry, both in Pennsylvania, and is now commencing the next step of her study journey at Trinity College Theological School in Melbourne, looking into the complexity of ‘beauty’.
Laura Cerbus commenced her PhD at Trinity College in 2022 and is considering how we learn to see and perceive beauty. Laura is also looking at the relationship between learning to perceive creation – and its beauty or ‘ugliness’ – and the process of becoming ‘beautiful’ people ourselves, and the way that influences how we care for our world, particularly in light of the climate crisis.
