Independent Higher Education Australia (IHEA) has welcomed the University of Divinity to its membership base. Trinity College Theological School offers accredited courses through the University of Divinity.

‘The University of Divinity is a wonderful fit as IHEA’s newest member,’ says IHEA CEO, Simon Finn. ‘The University of Divinity shares the goals of our members to provide higher education that meets the educational goals of students, and the community expectation of accessible high-quality teaching and learning for all Australians. ‘The University has been delivering high-quality teaching and research in theology, philosophy, and spirituality for over 100 years and has prepared many graduates for ministry, leadership, and community service. The University of Divinity consistently ranks among the highest rated institutions for quality by students in the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teach (QILT) surveys.’

University of Divinity Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Sherlock said he is delighted for the university to be admitted to IHEA membership. ‘IHEA is the peak body for high-quality independent higher education in Australia and the leading voice on the future direction of the sector,’ says Professor Sherlock.
