2016 Anglican Conference

From 10 to 13 February, Trinity College will play host to an exciting inter-agency conference, Life in Abundance: An Anglican Conference on Mission and Evangelism.

The conference will bring together a diverse group of Anglicans to network, participate in workshops, converse with thought-provoking keynote speakers, and enter a prophetic dialogue that imagines a church living abundantly in the present.

The conference comes as a partnership between Trinity College Theological School and Anglican Board of Mission, Anglican Overseas Aid, Anglicare Victoria, Brotherhood of St Laurence and Benetas.

According to The Revd Canon Professor Dorothy Lee, Dean, Trinity College Theological School, ‘the vision for the conference is that the whole church would embrace mission and evangelism as the very life-blood of the church’.

Professor Lee will lead the Bible studies at the conference.

Trinity College is proud to announce The Right Revd Professor Stephen Pickard as a conference keynote speaker. Trinity will also welcome Professor Stephen Bevans and Bishop Justin Duckworth as international guests to the conference.

The conference will also include over 20 workshops run by mission practitioners and theologians.

Trinity College invites you to start your Lent journey with the innovative Life in Abundance Conference.
