What to expect
Orientation is an exciting time. The program is held on campus, and is specifically designed to introduce you to life in Australia and set you up for success during your study period. You'll meet your academic team, learn about your student support services, and become familiar with life on campus at Trinity College.
On your first day, you'll receive a full Orientation timetable. Before you dive into the fun activities on your schedule, you will need to register and have your student photo taken. The rest of the Trinity College Orientation program involves a series of information sessions as well as safe and fun group activities that help you to get to know your classmates better.
What to bring
Make sure you bring the following along to Orientation with you:
- A copy of your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
- A pen and notebook
- A refillable water bottle
- Comfortable, casual clothing with covered shoes
- Sun protection if it's hot outside, including sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen
- A camera, if desired
Your parents are welcome to bring you to orientation but will be asked to leave once you have registered and start your orientation program.
Finding your way around
The Trinity College Main Campus is located in Parkville, a five-minute drive, short tram ride or walk north of the CBD and our other campuses. It may take a few days to find your way around Trinity College when you first arrive. While there will be plenty of support staff available on campus during Orientation to show you around, it may help to download a Trinity College Campus Map.
Please note that the first day of orientation will take place at 29 Royal Parade, Parkville.
