Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Offer with instructions on how to accept the offer and make the necessary payment.
Letter of Offer
Applicants who satisfy Foundation Studies entry requirements will be placed in the most appropriate course by the Admissions Office. They will receive a Letter of Offer confirming:
the intake in which they have been placed
commencement date of the course
details of fees due, and when and how payment should be made
in some cases, specific conditions that must be met prior to your acceptance of the offered place.
Terms and conditions of offer
An offer from Foundation Studies requires that students agree to accept the terms and conditions relating to their behaviour and responsibilities while they are at Trinity, including provisions relating to:
education services for overseas students (ESOS) – consumer protections for overseas students
attendance requirements of 80 per cent under Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) regulations
notifying the College about any change of address within seven days
appropriate nomination of a guardian or carer for students under 18 years of age (A Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare CAAW)
the TCFS Deferment, Transfer between Providers or Withdrawal policy
the TCFS Grievance Policy
the College’s publicity policy provides that incidental photos taken of Foundation Studies students may be taken and used for Trinity College’s publicity and promotion in print and electronic media, without charge and without identifying or naming subjects.
Students who accept their offer and subsequently decide to withdraw from the course must notify Trinity College in writing. All applications for refund of fees will be considered individually.
Acceptance of Offer
To accept the offer and to confirm their place in the Foundation Studies program, students need to:
1. Meet any conditions stated in the Letter of Offer (if applicable)
2. Sign and date the Acceptance and Invoice page (Parents or guardian signature required for under-18 students).
3. Pay the Amount Due listed on the first page of the Offer, in Australian dollars (AUD).
Students should note that by signing this document they are entering into a legally binding contract with Trinity College under the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Fee Payment Methods
Payment should be made in Australian dollars by one of the following methods:
A. Bank Draft or Bank Cheque payable to Trinity College in Australian dollars
B. Credit card: Parents should contact their bank before they return this Credit Card Authorisation Form to ensure a large sum will be released in one transaction.
C. Telegraphic Transfer or direct deposit to the following account:

All payments must include the student’s full name and their Foundation Studies ID number (indicated on the bottom left-hand corner of the Letter of Offer) on the transfer document.
Students must advise Trinity College Registrations Office immediately that the transfer has been completed and provide the following details:
- a copy of the transfer receipt
- full name of the student
- student TCFS ID number
- the amount paid in Australian dollars
- date of transfer
- name and branch of the bank that funds have transferred from.
Please note that all subsequent payments (balance of tuition fee) can only be paid after the student has commenced at Trinity. The amount shall be transfered to:

Accommodation for Students Under 18
Students under the age of 18 must have their accommodation choice approved by Trinity College before they can apply for a student visa. Once approved, Trinity College will issue a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW).
Trinity College will confirm all student enrolments by issuing an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE) on receipt of fee payment and satisfaction of Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) guidelines. This document, together with a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW), must be presented to the Australian Diplomatic Mission when they apply for an Australian student visa.
