Trinity's 2012 Student of the Year

Congratulations to Doug Tjandra (3rd year Biomedicine), who was awarded Trinity Student of the Year for 2012.

Doug (pictured left), a student intern in sustainability, a member of the Trinity Tiger Tones and Secretary to the Outeach Committee, was a well-deserving recipient of the award, which was presented at the Residential College Valedictory Dinner last Friday evening.

Congratulations are also extended to the following students for their outstanding contribution to life at Trinity:

Outstanding Contribution to the Arts: Julia Stretch (3rd year Arts)

Sportswoman of the Year: Claire Sutterby (3rd year Science)

Sportsman of the Year: Hamish Stein (3rd year Commerce)

Outstanding Achievement in Community Service: Emily Lewis (1st year Arts), Will Penington (3rd year Science) and Sissi Wang (3rd year Commerce)

Outstanding Contribution to College: Tom Bland (Postgraduate Commerce), David Morley (3rd year Science), Adelaide Myer (3rd year Arts) and Irini Vazanellis (Postgraduate Engineering)

Rohan Humberstone Cup: Felicity Martin (3rd year Science).
