Australia Day Honours for Trinity Alumni

Congratulations to the following Trinity College alumni, who were recipients of Australia Day Honours last Thursday 26 January.

MEMBER (AM) in the General Division

William Barrett Capp (Barry Capp) (TC 1952) 
'For service to business, and to the community through a range of philanthropic, social welfare and educational organisations.'

Professor John Frederick Forbes (TC 1963)
'For service to medicine in the field of breast cancer research, to the development of improved clinical practice standards, and to the community.'

Bryan Andrew Keon-Cohen QC (TC 1966)
'For service to the law, and to the legal profession, through the advancement of social justice and the protection of human rights, particularly in the areas of environmental and Indigenous law reform.'

Professor Peter Balshaw McPhee (TC 1966)
'For service to tertiary education administration, to the discipline of history as an academic and author, and to professional associations.'

Robert James Stewart (TC 1967)
'For service to the community through fostering collaboration between business and the tertiary education sector, to health and technology organisations, and to the sport of rowing.'

Dr Alan James Goble (TC 1943)
'For service to medicine as a cardiologist, and to the National Heart Foundation in Victoria.'
