Theological School welcomes new Lecturer in Biblical Studies

The Revd Dr Robyn Whitaker will join Trinity College Theological School in June 2016 as the Bromby Lecturer in Biblical Studies and Online Coordinator.

She is returning to her hometown of Melbourne after almost a decade living in the USA.

There, she taught biblical languages and exegesis at several seminaries and divinity schools, including the University of Chicago, Princeton Theological Seminary and, most recently, Union Theological Seminary in New York.

She first undertook theological studies in Melbourne (BD and MTh) and has a PhD from the University of Chicago Divinity School.

Robyn is an ordained Minister of the Uniting Church, and has experience working in both congregational and chaplaincy settings.

Her main area of research focuses on the epiphanic and apocalyptic literature of the Bible, particularly the Book of Revelation.
