Leadership Development
The need to develop leadership skills is not solely for those who are - or aim to be - leaders: they are essential to functioning in an increasingly complex and competitive world.
Critical and creative thinking, goal setting and self-direction, problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, the ability to negotiate and influence, as well as recognise the importance of public service and community engagement, ethical responsibility, and the consequences of our actions - these are all vital abilities.
At Trinity, these abilities are valued for the intrinsic benefit they provide toward confidence and life-readiness. Drawing on the College's long tradition of creating leaders, the Young Leaders Summer School gives students the opportunity to build and practise these skills in a supportive, enriching community.
