TCTS Theology Online
Trinity College Theological School (TCTS) first attracted me as a result of its Online postgraduate correspondence courses. Studying part-time Online was a great way to begin theological training, whilst undertaking a process of vocational discernment. TCTS Theology Online provided rigorous biblical training, and engaging and challenging theological grounding to inform my discernment, within a strong liberal and ecumenical perspective. The Online staff were great, helping with guidance and advice in all sorts of ways!
I was deeply impressed by the ecumenical commitment of TCTS, sharing resources with the Uniting Church Centre for Ministry and Training, and the Jesuit Theological College, as well as the extensive and varied one-off seminars and lectures which occur within the ecumenical community of the United Faculty of Theology. It was clear even from a distance that TCTS was a vibrant and pastoral community, equipping people of all ages to further their spiritual journey, wherever they were in life. Thus, I resolved to commit myself to full-time theological study with TCTS.
I am now into my second year of face-to-face, full-time study, on-campus in Melbourne, and a candidate for Holy Orders in the Anglican Church. TCTS is continuing to challenge and nourish my spiritual journey, providing a strong sense of community within a diverse range of Christian experience, alongside generous and dedicated academic direction and pastoral support.
