Returning to tertiary study after years in the work force was both exciting and daunting. Driven by a desire to develop a deeper understanding of my faith, I began to study Theology at Trinity where I encountered an amazingly diverse and engaging community who welcomed me, and all my questions.
What began as a “toe in the water” soon became a commitment to full-time study and to the discernment of a vocation in ministry. This has proved very challenging - personally, spiritually and academically, but I have found that being a part of the community at Trinity and sharing the journey with others on a similar path has been invaluable.
I am now enjoying putting the knowledge and skills that I have learnt into practice in parish ministry. My initial curiosity, rather than being satisfied, has been deepened and I am looking forward to continuing my studies into Honours and possibly beyond
