Explore the Campaign for Trinity
Trinity College is in the middle of a campaign to raise $26 million which commenced in 2002. The campaign is progressing well. You'll notice changes taking place around the College shortly.
The
focus for the early part of the Campaign was raising funds to develop
residential accommodation, endow scholarships, and maintain heritage
buildings within the College.
A priority was
raising funds for the new residential Woodheap Building, with special
emphasis placed on building two Visiting Scholars' apartments. In
January 2006 construction commmenced on the Woodheap building, between
Behan and Clarkes. It will consist of 22 ensuite student rooms, one
tutor's flat, as well as two Visiting Scholar apartments.
As
part of the architectural master plan developed for the College,
additional building works are planned to create teaching spaces, as
well as dedicated music and drama areas. Construction will commence as
the campaign progresses, and the required capital is raised.
