Annual Giving
The
challenge for Trinity College is to provide the best education we can
to the best students, drawn from diverse backgrounds. To do this,
Trinity College needs better facilities, fine teachers, and generous
scholarships for needy students.
The Annual
Giving program draws a wide range of Trinity College supporters and
friends together to raise funds for new buildings, teaching spaces,
maintenance of heritage buildings, and endowing scholarships.
You can direct your gift to one of the following areas:
Unrestricted
Unrestricted giving generously enables the Warden to apply resources to the areas of greatest need.
Up-grading student and tutor accommodation
This
is the College's most urgent priority. Up-grading will continue with
your support. The 'Woodheap' building works commenced in January
2006.
Indigenous Educational Initiatives
Trinity
recognises that the College community is enriched in every way by the
presence of Indigenous scholars. Scholarships are provided to encourage
and enable Indigenous students to study here.
Resources for Teaching and Learning
Trinity
is constantly striving to provide outstanding teaching spaces, as well
as library, information technology, and other learning resources for
all its students.
Scholarship Endowments
These
endowments ensure that Trinity offers opportunities to students from
diverse backgrounds who could not otherwise gain a Trinity education.
Scholarships for Students coming from overseas
A number of international scholarships are awarded to students based on outstanding academic merit.
Teaching Endowments
These funds endow positions of high-calibre staff, to enhance the teaching and mentoring of our students.
General Endowment
A significant endowment fund will help ensure long-term financial security, independence and flexibility for the College.
Theology
Trinity has a proud heritage of shaping men and women in mission and ministry within the Anglican tradition.
Music
Music endowments support music at Trinity, including the Choir of Trinity College – one of the world's finest collegiate choirs.
