Trinity College prides itself on providing innovative, world-class Information Technology services.
From the high-speed internet connection available throughout labs, student workspaces and resident rooms, to the utilisation of open source technologies, Trinity provides second-to-none IT facilities for students and staff in this information age.
Assistance is available via a student-managed IT Committee and the User Services staff of the IT Department. Additionally, on-site, locally developed training programs are available to assist in increasing computer literacy levels.
Trinity's IT efforts have been widely recognised in the greater community, with:
- locally authored software being made available to the rest of the world
- regular presentations given by IT staff at key industry conferences
- a number of press reports published in newspapers, magazines and journals.
