Students
Trinity's resident students come from all Australian states and territories, and from many countries across the globe.
On average, about 25% of resident students come from metropolitan Melbourne, about 15% are from country Victoria, around 40% are from interstate, and approximately 20% come from overseas. These include graduates of Trinity College Foundation Studies and students from overseas universities who come to Melbourne to continue their studies on Exchange or Study Abroad schemes.
In recent years, Trinity's undergraduate students have been drawn from around 130 different schools.
Most students have strong academic records, have participated widely in extra-curricular activities, and have often held positions of leadership and service while at school. The vast majority continue to pursue and expand these interests while at Trinity, taking full advantage of the extensive range of academic, cultural, sporting, and service opportunities available.
