Mentors
Everyone mentors
at Trinity, from tutors to members of academic staff, chaplaincy, administration, the Theological School and Foundation Studies. There are
currently over thirty mentors, including the senior staff of the College, members of the residential College administration, resident and non-resident tutors, most of whom are
doctoral or post-doctoral students, Foundation Studies lecturers, the
Directors of Finance and Advancement, and members of the Theological School and
the Chaplains.
The mentoring program is run by the Head of Academic Programs, Dr Sally Dalton-Brown, who facilitates meetings, runs training and debriefing sessions for mentors, and develops the program to ensure that its aim – of helping students reach their full potential while at Trinity – is achieved. Career or professional mentoring is also offered; alumni of the College are often very happy to help students with career guidance and networking contacts, while in addition the College has several working partnerships for vacation employment.
