Residential College Community
Trinity College is a vibrant community of students, scholars, staff and visitors.
The residential College is home to 282 undergraduate and graduate students studying at the University of Melbourne. They are supported by the staff of the residential College, consisting chiefly of the Dean, the Head of Academic Programs, the Registrar, and the Assistant to the Dean. Other staff on hand to assist with the welfare of all students include the College Chaplains, the Librarians, the staff of the Buildings and Grounds division, the IT department, the Accounts department, the front office staff and the catering and cleaning staff.
Alongside these staff stand the tutors, both resident and non resident. Tutors are available to assist with academic work, and to help students with other difficulties that may arise from time to time, be they personal or social. The wider Trinity community also includes academic visitors to the College, the staff and students of Trinity College Foundation Studies and the Theological School, and the staff and students of the various Summer and Mid-Year Schools held at the College.
