Celebrating Women at Trinity
Last year we celebrated another milestone for Trinity - the 30th anniversary of the admission of women into full co-residence.

To mark this milestone, and to re-affirm the College's passionate commitment to equality of respect for women and men, the College has - amongst other initiatives -
• launched a strong and wide-ranging program to ensure gender equality and inclusiveness throughout Trinity College,
• held an extensive photographic exhibition on women at Trinity, and commissioned a number of portraits of Trinity women (to be unveiled in 2005),
• hosted a special luncheon on 24 October 2004 at which Trinity women from across the decades shared their diverse experiences, and future initiatives were discussed, and
• hosted discussions for resident students led by Professor Robin Sharwood, Warden from 1965 to 1973, on how and why he came to advocate Trinity's becoming co-residential, and Dr Sharon Orrman-Rossiter on women in business .
