Dr Katherine Firth became Head of Academic Programs in 2014. Previously she has been involved with Trinity Residential College as Director of Studies (Arts), Visiting Research Fellow and non-resident tutor of Trinity. She continues to be Adjunct Faculty at the Trinity College Theological School. She has lectured at the University of Melbourne since 2010. She trained at Newnham College, Cambridge, and Oxford Brookes University, and publishes in the area of modernist literature, and poetry and music. Recent publications include a new scholarly translation in Johann Sebastian Bach's St John Passion (BWV 245): A Theological Commentary by Andreas Loewe, published by Brill in 2014, and articles on 20th-century poetry and music. Katherine is also an active librettist, with three works that have been premièred by Trinity College Choir.
