Sunday 9 December 2007
The Choir of Trinity College today joined other ‘Hush Collection’ recording artists in presenting the inaugural Family Carols Concert in the Melbourne Town Hall.

Staged in an informal 'prom concert' type setting and with a clear focus on children, the concert raised $5,000 for Children’s Hospitals around Australia. A delighted Dr Catherine Crock from the Royal Children's Hospital – and the originator of the 'Hush Collection' concept – says that this concert is now likely to become an annual event.
Also performing in this concert were the Paul Grabowsky Trio, pianist Jonathan Bradley, Trio Grande, and the Australian Chamber Brass Ensemble. The audience was also invited to join in singing such favourites as O come all ye faithful, Once in royal David's city, and Hark! The herald angels sing.
To promote the Concert, the Choir also sang live on ABC Radio, 774 Melbourne, on Saturday 8 December, with listeners calling the station to request more!
