The Revd Robin Elliott
The Revd Robin Elliott has accepted a position as Chaplain at Trinity College, with particular responsibility for the pastoral care of the resident student community and the liturgical life of the Chapel.
Robin will work closely with College Chaplain, the Revd Dr Richard Treloar, who will continue to lead the Chaplaincy team, as well as with Foundation Studies Chaplain the Revd Kim Cruickshank, and other staff in the residential College and the Theological School.
Robin comes to Trinity, with wife Susannah, from the Parish of Bass-Phillip Island in the Diocese of Gippsland, where he has been Rector for the past four years. He was previously a parish priest in the Diocese of Adelaide, where, after studying at Adelaide University, he trained for ordination at St Barnabas' College and Flinders University. He is also undertaking postgraduate research studies in Theology.
Robin expresses a concern to ‘deal with whole people, spiritual and intellectual as well as social and physical’. He has sung in the chorus of the State Opera of South Australia and retains a keen interest in music.
Robin will begin to undertake some roles at Trinity during O-week in mid-February, and between then and Easter will be in a time of transition as he completes commitments in the parish.
The Trinity community looks forward to welcoming Robin and Susannah into their midst.
