Under this arrangement, students board in the private home of relatives, friends or an approved host family.
The student has a private bedroom and shares other facilities with their host family. The student prepares their own breakfast and lunch, and the host family provides the evening meal. These arrangements may require the student to travel to campus.
The College is only involved in arrangements where international students stay with relatives in Melbourne when the student is under 18 years of age so proper checks have to be completed in order to satisfy their visa requirements.
Home-stay placements are organised through the Foundation Studies Accommodation Office at Trinity with providers Homestay Australia and Student Accommodation Services (SAS).
