Friday Program

Friday is the designated day for the Ministry Formation Program although students may be taking courses for study on other days through the United Faculty of Theology. Fridays begin with morning prayer at 9.00am in the Chapel followed by a gathering of the community for coffee and announcements. At 10.00am a number of course options are provided, that can be credit towards the Bachelor of Theology. 

In Semester one 2012 the following units will be offered:

  • Introduction to Ministry Formation DP105
  • Anglican Liturgical Leadership DL228
  • Preaching the Scriptures DP229/329.

In Semester two 2012 students may study:

  • Anglican Identity and Polity CH/DCL385
  • Leadership, Teaching and Community Building DP185.

Lunch is taken at 1.00pm and many students join the College community in the Dining Hall as a valuable time to share with the wider Trinity student body. The afternoon program begins at 2.15pm with theological reflection around a major social issue or other topic affecting the church and its ministry. The day concludes in the Chapel with a celebration of the Eucharist.
