From the beginnings of the College in 1872, the Library has been built into a hub of historic and cultural significance as well as an excellent academic resource.

Trinity College manages collections belonging to two major libraries:
- the Leeper Library; the main collection with resources on all fields of knowledge
- the Mollison Library; Provincial Library of the Anglican Church of Victoria.
The Library’s resources assist Trinity students to excel in their learning and research, and are a crucial element of the educational package that attracts students, staff and visiting academics to the College. It is managed and operated by four dedicated staff.
Trinity’s Library currently holds more than 66,000 volumes comprising:
- specialised working collections in the main fields of undergraduate study
- specialist research collections in Anglican theology and other theology to reflect the College’s commitment to inter-faith dialogue
- specialist research collection on Australiana
- historical editions of a range of academic journals.
The Library catalogue is available online.
