Trinity College Foundation Studies is a course specifically for international students who satisfy entry requirements in respect of academic results and English language, and who wish to:
Australian and New Zealand Citizens
Citizens from Australia and New Zealand are not eligible to apply.
Recent changes in policy indicate that some students with permanent resident status in Australia may be eligible to apply however certain conditions do apply. Please check eligibility with the Admissions Office through completing the Enquiry Form.
Students with temporary resident status in Australia and permanent resident status in New Zealand are eligible.
Foundation Studies Students
All Foundation Studies students are:
at least 16 years of age at the time of commencement
high-achieving secondary students in their countries of origin
planning to study a specific course at the University of Melbourne or another university in Australia or overseas.
Students under 18 years of age must arrange Trinity-approved accommodation for the duration of their course prior to applying for a student visa to study in Australia. Trinity’s Accommodation Office can assist with this process.
