We run various networking events and workshops throughout the year to help with your career aspirations.

Career Conversations

A unique and informal forum for students to meet members of the global Trinity community and gain an insight into their career journeys.

Alumni are asked to share their career progression stories and provide industry-based insights into the skills and attributes needed to get into their field. Students are invited to ask questions and contribute to the conversation.

Careers Conversations will cover:
• how to get started
• helpful tips and advice to build industry specific skills and experience
• the power of resilience: Careers don’t always run to plan
• career progression, opportunities and transitions: how careers evolve over time
• finding your passion and life balance.

Accounting 

Speakers:

Eileen Goh (TCFS 1996) is the Chief Financial Officer at VincentCare Victoria, with years of experience in the area of Accounting and Finance both in the corporate and non-profit sectors. Her previous roles included Senior Audit Associate at PwC, Auditor at Victorian's Auditor-General's Office, Group Accountant at Save the Children Australia.

James Coppe (TC 2010) is a Corporate Tax Graduate at KPMG. He completed a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor degree in Commerce (Accounting and Finance). He had previously worked as a tutor both at Trinity and at the University of Melbourne, and has work experience in both the Accounting and Legal fields. 

Enoch Ko (TCFS 2001) is the Senior Finance Analyst at Medibank and had held positions in a number of organisations including Interactive, Aspire Brands and Red Earth Cosmetics and ASX. He studied Biomedical Science at Melbourne University and had worked in biotechnology and cosmetics manufacturing sales prior to his career change.

Alditha Paramita (TCFS 2011) is Operations Graduate at NAB, currently on her first rotation in Analytics. Alditha completed a degree in Accounting and Marketing and had worked as an Accountant and a Superannuation Advisor prior to taking up her current position in Data, Analytic & Reporting at NAB.

Etiquette Workshop

Back by popular demand, Ana Retallack from the Standard Companion is returning to school us in elegant eating. She will cover everything from crockery to cutlery; glassware and linens; how to negotiate unfamiliar cuisine; how to give a toast or vote of thanks; table talk; the role of the corporate host and guest; handling introductions and more! This workshop is a fun way to increase your confidence at social events and meet other Trinity students and alumni at the same time.  Tuition will take place over a two-course lunch.
