Lecturer in Charge
Dr Maureen Vincent, BA Monash, BSW Melb, GradDipSecEd ACU, GradDipEd(Psy) Monash, MA(ClinPsy) PhD Deakin
Dr Maureen Vincent has been employed at Trinity College as Lecturer in
Charge of Psychology since 1997. Prior to this, she taught undergraduate and postgraduate psychology at both Monash and Deakin Universities. Dr Vincent has published articles in the area of eating disorders and presented her research findings at national and international conferences. Her current research interests include the
psychology of international aid and humanitarian work, as well as AIDS/HIV and
other psychosocial/clinical health concerns of developing nations. She is also an accredited sexual harassment officer, workplace trainer and an external exam advisor for psychology for the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
Mr Ian Wei Yuan Teo, BSc Melb, GradDipPsy Deakin, MEd Policy Melb
Ian has been with TCFS since February 2004 and previously taught at Deakin University within the School of Psychology. During this time, his interests lay predominately within the processes of visual perception and how inaccurate our impression of the world could be. His university education began and continues at present within the University of Melbourne. He is currently engaged in studying international educational policy and has an active interest in the roles that social and cultural capital play over the lives of students and teachers, and the whole influence it has over policy-making and the education system as a whole.
