Overview
Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS)
This award winning, one-year course qualifies around 700 international students annually for undergraduate entry to the University of Melbourne and other leading Australian universities. It gives them the intellectual and cultural skills necessary for success at university.
Highly qualified staff use a lecture and tutorial style of teaching combined with individual mentoring, a strong network of student welfare and support services, and a range of extra curricular activities to prepare students for tertiary study.
Widely regarded as a benchmark for foundation
studies programs in Australia, Trinity College Foundation Studies
courses are academically supervised by the University of Melbourne, which
guarantees places to those students – on average around 80% of TCFS graduates –
who achieve the required scores.
TCFS is a non-residential program but students are helped to obtain suitable accommodation. While most students enter in February or July, programs of varying duration and entry time are available to meet individual needs.
