Living in Residence
For resident students, Trinity becomes your home for the academic year. Students arriving for their first year in the College come into residence one week before classes begin at university in order to participate in orientation activities (known as O-Week).
For 2008, the standard dates of residence are:
Term 1: New students – Sunday 24 February to Thursday 20 March
Term 1: Returners – Thursday 28 February to Thursday 20 March
University of Melbourne teaching begins on Monday 3 March
Term 2: Sunday 30 March to Friday 27 June
Term 3: Sunday 27 July to Friday 19 September
Term 4: Sunday 5 October to Friday 28 November
For 2009, the standard dates of residence are:
Term 1: New students – Sunday 23 February to Thursday 9 April
Term 1: Returners – Thursday 27 February to Thursday 9 April
University of Melbourne teaching begins on Monday 2 March
Term 2: Sunday 19 April to Friday 26 June
Term 3: Sunday 26 July to Friday 18 September
Term 4: Sunday 4 October to Friday 27 November
