Overview
The Young Leaders Summer School at Trinity College is an enriching two-week residential program for Australian and overseas students. Offered in July and December each year, it offers an outstanding academic and personal development opportunity. It is designed to give
students an intellectual and social edge for their final years of schooling,
while also providing an introduction to life at university.
As well as providing intellectual enrichment for students, Summer School incorporates an action-packed program of extracurricular activities.
The following programs are offered:
- Young Leaders Summer School in Creative Thinking, held in July and December each year
- Young Leaders Summer School in Science, held in December each year
Hallmarks of each program are:
- individual attention, with students introduced to small university-style group tutorials in which teamwork
and
class participation is encouraged at all times. Each student is also
assigned an undergraduate mentor for the duration of the program
- the high calibre of the teaching staff
During a busy fortnight, students form long-term bonds of friendship with other motivated young people from across the world. The Young Leaders Summer School is an amazing experience.
