Foundation Studies Academic Program
The Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS) curriculum is specially designed, with support from the University of Melbourne, to prepare overseas students to be successful at university. The subjects offered include the prerequisites for all university courses.
Students receive an individual timetable of lectures, tutorials, and laboratory work, offering students an introduction to the style of teaching and academic life they will encounter when they commence university in Australia. Students attend lectures, and then meet to discuss the issues or topics raised in the lectures in smaller tutorial groups of approximately 15 students.
Individual attention is a hallmark of Trinity College Foundation Studies as is the calibre of the teaching staff, many of whom also teach at the University of Melbourne, and hold degrees at Masters and PhD level.
