Academic Programs
Trinity College offers a unique range of high quality academic programs, supported by individual mentoring, for students from senior secondary school to post graduate levels.
The programs include:
- The residential College for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University of Melbourne, both resident and non-resident
- Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS), a special one-year course which prepares able overseas students for undergraduate entry to the University of Melbourne and other leading Australian universities
- Trinity College Theological School, which trains Anglican clergy and offers courses in theology for lay people, on campus, online, and in parishes
- Initiatives that focus on Indigenous perspectives
- International Summer Schools for secondary school students, and
- Other short courses
In addition, these programs are enhanced by a procession of Visiting Scholars of international repute, including Nobel Laureates; the Gourlay Visiting Professorship of Ethics in Business, which each year brings to the College a world-leading ethicist to teach jointly at Trinity and the Melbourne Business School; and other special prizes and awards that encourage academic endeavour in particular fields.
