Being far from my family and relatives, the support networks of staff and friends at Trinity have been my safety net. I am nothing but proud and humbled to be a part of this academic community rich in culture and opportunities. I have been grateful for the extra tutorials and support with my subjects, and have felt encouraged to engage with my degree and to enjoy being a student.
I have also felt encouraged to try new things and put myself out there. The leadership opportunities in the College are priceless and I have tried my best to make the most of them. As a result I have become a more active member of the community, and I have confidence now to take the initiative and make things happen. I have become more independent and thoughtful, and am always inspired by the role models around me – from visiting scholars and resident tutors to fellow students who don’t cease to impress me.
